Styling basic checklist 101

Planning your wedding florals and styling can feel overwhelming. Between Pinterest boards, venue restrictions, guest counts, and budget, it is easy to get lost in the details. The good news is you do not need to know every flower name or design trend. You just need to ask yourself the right questions.

This guide walks you through the practical decisions that will shape your overall look, without the fluff.

A simple rule of thumb we use with couples:

For a 100-pax wedding, multiply your guest count by ₱700–₱1,300.

This range typically covers:

• Ceremony/church styling

• Reception styling

• Bridal bouquet

• Entourage flowers

It does not include ceiling treatments.

So for 100 guests, you are looking at roughly ₱70,000–₱130,000 for the core floral package.

Smaller weddings tend to sit toward the higher end of the range per guest because fixed costs do not shrink as much. Larger weddings can often land closer to the lower end.

Ask yourself:

Does this number feel comfortable, or do I need to prioritize certain areas like the bridal bouquet and ceremony and simplify others?

Must-haves (examples many brides love):

• Tulips

• Carnations

• Calla lilies

Must-not-haves:

• Flowers that are toxic or harmful to pets if pets will be present or if you are sensitive

• Anything that does not hold up well in Metro Manila’s heat and humidity

• Blooms that clash with your color palette or venue rules
